Traditional Marketing Research can shed light on important information
about your consumers such as ‘who’ they are, ‘what’ they buy, ‘where’
and ‘when’ they buy. However, it falls seriously short when consumers
are asked to elaborate on the most important question of ‘WHY’ –
why do consumers behave the way they do?
Consumers are often not consciously aware of the reasons for their
own behavior! Behavioral Economics, with the use of its actionable
frameworks and theories, uncovers the ‘why’ and identifies the underlying
motivations behind consumers’ behavior. With Behavioral economics
in your arsenal, you can ask your consumers the right questions,
get less-biased responses and consequently draw out the non-conscious,
contextual and hidden drivers of their behavior.
